Ann Croft helps at the Kennels and has done for the past 6 years or so.Well liked by Staff and Owners alike she is always a very happy-go-lucky and thoroughly aimeable character who takes part in all the Banter on Owners Days. Ann currently owns two Greyhounds at Village Farm and both are regular winners in their grade. Monagea Lee has been a real 'project' for Ann as when he came he was incredibily nervous and shyed away from Human interaction. He was ok on the Track however, and with Ann keen to purchse a dog and have a vested in terest on race nights Pat saw the opportunity to help further educate Ann as she continued to learn how to train the Racing Greyhound. Lost In Paradise was given to Ann by an Owner, she again was somewhat problematic in the beginning but with a bit of TLC she's gradually got going and now wins in her turn.
Anns other passion is Horse and she is also actively involved in Pferde Stud, near Thame, Oxon. Although she can no longer ride due to injury she is a regular at the yard and helps in all aspects. the yard undertakes She has bred show jumpers, Eventers and Show Horses and with some degree of success, Ann and members of her yard are regularly represented with entries at the Horse of the Year Show where their offspring have won classes on a good few occassions. She is also very much a family girl and spends lots of time with her neices and nephews. She also has some beauitful German Shepherds that she has bred, but did not have the heart to sell due to doting on every one of them. With the Greyhounds, the Horses, the family and the pets Ann Croft is always a busy girl. However, she still finds time to be avery good friend to both Liz and Pat who hold her in the highest esteem.
